PLEASE alert the police in Omaha, Nebraska. I met her 4 years ago working for the Obama campaign and we’ve been in touch a lot. She’s 5’5” and Sudanese, 25 with black hair and brown eyes.
La Vista police said they found Elizabeth J. Dum’s vehicle abandoned near the Interstate 80 off-ramp at Q Street on Wednesday.
Dum is a 25-year-old Sudanese woman, about 5 feet 5 inches tall and 160 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
Dum’s mother May Pal said her daughter won’t go a day without calling her, but she hasn’t heard from Elizabeth since Tuesday.
“We never, never have a day without talking,” said Pal. “I had a bad feeling, and even now I don’t know where she is.”
Police are treating the disappearance as being under “suspicious circumstances.”
“We’re calling it suspicious because of the way the vehicle was found, and we’ve been to her home. (There was) nothing suspicious in the home. (It) doesn’t look like anyone has packed and left,” said La Vista Police Chief Bob Laustan.
“If you find her, please just let the police know,” Pal said.
Anyone with information on where Dum could be is asked to call La Vista police at 402-331-1353.
